I believe in the profound power of relationship and community. I also believe that the most important relationship a person will ever have is the relationship they have with themself. Individuals have all that they need to be successful already inside of them. I see my roles in therapy as someone to walk alongside in this journey of self-discovery, thoughtfully challenge unhelpful thought or behavior patterns, and provide psychoeducation as needed. I also value the importance of fun and humor in my practice, when appropriate. I feel strongly that everyone deserves to feel safe and whole.
I have a wide variety of work experiences in the world of mental health, including as a youth advocate, behavior intervention specialist, and clinical case manager. I have served numerous populations, ranging from children and families experiencing domestic violence to individuals working through addiction and substance use disorders. My primary passion lies in working with youth. I especially enjoy exploring the concept of healthy masculinity with young people as they start to understand what that means for them and who they want to be.
I am a pre-licensure mental health practitioner working towards my LPCC. I received my Master’s degree from the Counseling and Psychological Services program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in the Spring of 2025.
In my free time I love to stay active and try new things – food, experiences, you name it! I am an avid recreational sports participant – mainly basketball and kickball. I enjoy traveling with friends and family and also spending time at home with my girlfriend and our dog Posie. We just moved back to Minnesota from Madison, Wisconsin, so we’re spending a lot of time reacclimating and setting up our apartment!
