Mental Health Practitioner
Location: St. Paul, Telehealth and/or In Person
Pronouns: She/Her
I love working with individuals and couples 18 years or older. I am open to a wide range of client concerns and value the process of getting to know my clients for who they are. This includes working on concerns related to relationships, identity development, communication, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, self-esteem, and transitions, to name a few. I am affirming of all client identities and strive to continue learning how to support those who walk into my office. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients and couples and can provide recommendations for gender affirming care at specialized clinics.
I believe in creating space with each client that feels safe and helpful to them. In our fast-paced world it is often difficult to find the time or energy to reflect on thoughts, feelings, and experiences, yet we carry them with us, and they impact us in many ways. I work with clients to slow down, address these pieces, and explore ways of relating to the self, others, and the environment that can support client wellbeing. This can be a challenging process, and I recognize the courage in anyone who gives therapy a try.
I am a mental health practitioner working towards licensure, which will eventually make me a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota. I have a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the Counselor Education program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently under the supervision of Adeline Taylor, MS, LMFT.
I love iced coffee, painting, and spending time with family and friends. And the sun!
