I look forward to learning from my clients about their experiences and taking time to understand each individual and their unique concerns. To help my clients explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences, I will aim to create an atmosphere of safety, warmth, support and genuineness. I use a client-centered and integrative approach throughout sessions to get a full understanding of culture, environment, relationships, and past experiences that may be influencing the current experiences an individual is going through.
I provide individual therapy for adults having concerns of anxiety, depression, ADHD, going through life transitions and adjustments, processing of grief, low self-esteem and individuals looking for stress management and coping skills. I identify as bicultural and fluent in English and Russian. I am also interested in working with culturally diverse individuals including immigrants and will provide validation, understanding and support for the unique experiences of each client that comes with complex process of adjusting to a new culture.
I earned my master’s degree in counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. I am presently working towards LPCC licensure and practicing under the licensed supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Goodchild, MBA, MA, Psy. D, LMFT, LP.
