Pronouns: She/Her
I am currently located out of Central Pediatrics in Woodbury, and I am a part of our Integrative Behavioral Health team to provide short term therapy to children, adolescents and families and to bridge the gap between medical and behavioral health services.
I believe in the value of meeting every client where they are and building on their existing foundation to promote overall wellbeing, while providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere to process difficulties and stressors. I believe in the value of family system work and utilizing collaboration to create positive change to assist children and their families. All families and children are welcome in this therapeutic space.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents and families, ages 4 years old and up. I specialize in working with children who experience depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, ADHD, relational conflict, and self-esteem. I utilize therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skill-based approaches, in addition to utilizing solution focused, strength based, play therapy, and client centered therapeutic approaches. I have previously conducted intensive outpatient group programming (IOP) for adolescents and have thoroughly enjoyed working with teens!
I obtained my Master of Social Work from Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago. I am a licensed graduate social worker (LGSW) who is currently being supervised by Jennifer Joseph, PsyD, LP and Richard Close, DMin, PsyD, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT.
In my free time, I enjoy music and attending concerts, cheering on my beloved Green Bay Packers, reading, and spending time with friends and family, especially my nieces and cats!
