It is important that through my work, I create a safe space for all those in need. Client autonomy, humor, collaboration, and a positive therapeutic relationship are significant aspects of my practice. I believe that it is essential to meet a client where they are, thus my approach differs from client to client. I pull from the following therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.

The demographic that I work with varies from 5 to 25 years old with a variety of backgrounds, in addition to their families. I am licensed to work with individuals who experience substance use issues and mental health issues, as well as several years of experience working with co-occurring disorders. Furthermore, I have a history of working with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, ADHD, behavioral issues, parent training, and so on.

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Minnesota State University- Mankato. I obtained my master’s degree in professional studies through the Integrated Behavioral Health program at the University of Minnesota- St. Paul. I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of Minnesota. Moreover, I am certified to work with 0–5-year-olds in the state of Minnesota. I am currently under direction supervision of Jennifer Joseph, PsyD, LP until I obtain my LPCC license.
