Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Location: Woodbury Telehealth and/or In Person
Pronouns: She/Her
I am a dedicated mental health practitioner currently under supervision with Lisa Johnson, Psy.D., LP, LMFT as I work towards obtaining my Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) certification. I have experience working with adults 18+ struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, substance use, low self-worth, life transitions, relational concerns, career change, and divorce.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, non-judgmental, and person centered. I like to use humor when appropriate and be authentic and genuine in the therapy process. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment. I enjoy helping clients develop coping strategies, increase their self-awareness, and improve their lives.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and empower them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, as well as a Certificate in Addiction Studies. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy photography, reading, writing, spending time with my family, and hanging out with my two cats.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey towards healing and personal growth!
