My work with adolescents and their families has taught me the deep need adolescents, and adults, have for being heard and seen, as well as the need for the development of intrapersonal and interpersonal communication skills. I believe the journey of life is a process of trial and error, of learning and revision, that requires the courage to be imperfect, the ability to take responsibility for our actions, and the capacity to be merciful toward ourselves and others. The 2024-2025 school year marks my fourth year working at Irondale High School.
Before starting my career in the mental health field, I worked 21 years in IT.
