I strive to deeply understand the “why” behind behaviors. When we understand the “why”, we can make the necessary adjustments, together, to create the best outcomes. I enjoy getting to know my clients while also having some fun along the way. I approach problems from a solution-focused, CBT-approach with some interpersonal therapy and humor thrown in! I spend a large portion of my practice conducting psychological evaluations for children 17 and under with particular focus on those 12 and under. I have a small portion of therapy clients that I will see with a focus on children and adolescents 17 years of age and under. I conduct evaluations for a wide variety of issues including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and/or Learning Disabilities.
I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota and hold a national certification in Behavior Analysis. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Dakota and a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Natalis Psychology along with my post-doctoral experience. My post doc experience was focused on Child and Adolescent services. I have experience working in a wide variety of settings including schools, inpatient, outpatient, and medical settings.
