My professional interests and experiences include working with children and adolescents age 2-18 with emotional, behavioral and mood challenges such as ADHD, depression, autism spectrum disorders, managing life changes and anxiety disorders. I typically approach therapy using problem solving, cognitive behavioral, relational, play based and collaborative approaches in helping children and families find healthy solutions to life’s challenges. I also believe that parents are an integral part of the therapy process with children and emphasize a team-based approach including parents and collaboration with schools. I appreciate all families and respect and include individual and family values and systems. I also enjoy training and mentoring new and pre-licensed clinicians as they work to establish their own therapeutic frameworks. Please know that while I have few openings new clients, I supervise, train and consult with many providers here at Natalis that provide services for kids, teens and their families.

I am a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and hold a Master’s of Science in Education- School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. I have specialized experience and training in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in children and teens, diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, and the functional assessment and treatment of challenging and disruptive behaviors in children. I meet the competency and other requirements of supervision in MN for Doctoral level applicants seeking licensure with the MN Board of Psychology; Approved supervisor for the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (LPC/LPCC); and am a Qualified Mental Health Professional for Clinical Supervision for Minnesota Health Care Programs and Clinical Trainees approved by MN Department Human Services. I am also a MN DHS approved Qualified Supervising Psychologist and provider for completing and supervising Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Evaluations for the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Interventions benefit for ASD treatment.
