As CEO of Natalis, one of the things I have always loved about working here is that it has been a supportive place that allows employees to grow. I can count numerous examples of clinicians and administrative staff moving into leadership roles, and my story is no different. I started at Natalis in 2006 as a pre-doctoral psychology intern, became a licensed psychologist, developed into a supervising clinician, and eventually became one of the owners and CEO of Natalis. I’m passionate about helping to build the culture of Natalis so that those that work here can pursue the type of work they love, and together we can create more access to all who need behavioral health services.
In my clinical work, I’ve concentrated on inpatient and outpatient psychological evaluations from children as young as 6 through the life span, individual therapy with adolescents and adults, couples therapy, and family therapy. Although now I’m doing less clinical work as I focus on supervision and administrative tasks to support the clinic, in that work I continue to focus on collaborating with clients to empower them to create the change they desire and to reach the goals they are seeking.
One of my favorite parts about being CEO is to help shape the vision and mission of Natalis. I am proud of our focus of bringing behavioral health access to all people and making Natalis a place that all are welcome. Natalis is guided by these 7 core values: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); Connection; Healing; Empowering; Transforming; Reliability; and Quality, which inform our focus the culture of Natalis, the services we provide to our patients and impact the communities in which we are a part of. These are the ideals that guide our mission of Making a Difference – Healing, Empowering and Transforming – Together.
