I am currently working in the role of Mental Health Practitioner providing counseling services for individuals. I completed a master’s degree in counseling and Psychological Services from St Mary’s University. In 2005 and 2017, I was also able to complete degrees in the Fine Arts and Biology from Metropolitan State University. All of that training has helped me better understand people from many different lenses-the body, the mind and the creative spirit.
I am interested in working with teens (16+) and adults through age 64 who are experiencing symptoms relating to anxiety, depression, persistent mental illness, chronic health issues, trauma and neurodivergence. I am also interested in discussing career exploration, stress management, work/life balance and the use of creative expression as a means for healing. I work from a Person-Centered approach by creating a trusted safe space that allows the client to begin to know themselves through self-esteem development, meaningful decision making, and goal setting for the future.
I enjoy crafting, gardening, searching for vintage treasures and spending time with my family and cat.
