About Blessing

Location: St. Paul, telehealth and/or in-person
Pronouns: She/Her

I am passionate about supporting clients by honoring their unique stories, cultural identities, and lived experiences. I recognize that mental health is shaped not just by personal experiences, but also by the impact of identity, power dynamics, and larger systemic forces. In my work, I strive to create a space where those realities are acknowledged, and where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and possess the capacity for meaningful growth and change. I value the unique perspectives and wisdom each individual brings to the therapy process, and I honor the courage it takes to share one’s story.

My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth, genuineness, and collaboration. I aim to create a space where you feel empowered to explore your experiences and move toward healing. My clinical approach primarily draws from feminist-multicultural Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as humanistic principles. I have experience working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, identity development, and life transitions. I enjoy working with individuals of all backgrounds, ages 18+.

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron and am currently pursuing my PhD there as well. I am under the supervision of Rita Sandidge, PhD, LP.
