I am passionate about exploring how social and personal factors interact to influence the human experience. I believe that the therapeutic space is co-created alongside my clients and I am committed to developing a safe environment for you to create meaningful change. During treatment it is my mission to curiously engage with your life story to gain a comprehensive understanding of your lived experience.
I have clinical experience providing therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings. I had the privilege of working with individuals who were medically compromised, experiencing severe mental illness, facing challenges with mood or anxiety, and navigating their executive functioning with the goal of improving their overall life satisfaction. I am dedicated to addressing the systemic oppression that may impact your wellbeing, and integrating the biological, social, and psychological factors that are salient in your life. Alongside my clinical work, I am conducting research for my dissertation regarding the relationship between disordered eating and adverse childhood experiences in non-woman dancers.
During my undergraduate degree I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, and dance. I hold a master’s degree in psychology from The Chicago School, and I am currently completing my doctoral internship under the supervision of Dr. Rita Sandidge, PhD, LP.
In my free time I prioritize the arts and creative hobbies, spending time in the sun, and lounging with my cat.”
