About Rose

Location: School Based Mental Health
Pronouns: She/Her

I believe that early childhood mental healthcare is vital to lifelong wellness. I am passionate about supporting children and their caregivers in forming deep, secure relationships by seeking to understand the unique attachment needs of each person. I understand that many children go through stress starting early in life and while we have become increasingly aware of the profound impact of stress and trauma on the body, I am equally certain of the intelligence of the body and its ability to overcome trauma when offered a non-shaming space and a loving witness. In my office, children find a warm, heart-forward, deeply unassuming, and creative environment to process the most difficult parts of their story and uncover their own unique path to healing. This healing process deepens a child’s capacity for healthier relationships and increases their success in the classroom, home, and community.

I have received nearly five years of professional training in the Developmental Transformations Therapy Model. This approach employs embodied art making, play, drama, movement, and conversation to explore the unconscious aspects of a child’s inner world, facilitate healing, and bolster resilience despite the unpredictability of life.I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Minnesota. I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St Mary’s University of Minnesota as well a Masters Degree in Fine Art. I enjoy working with children ages0-18. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, gardening, and spending time with my family.
