I am the team lead for the School-Based Mental Health program at Natalis, overseeing the program and therapists that work in our schools around the Twin Cities metro. In addition, I provide therapeutic services to the high school students at North High School in North St. Paul, MN. I believe that our teenage years can be a tumultuous time and that receiving mental health treatment early on can make a world of difference in improving resilience and better understanding ourselves and the world around us. I use a client-centered approach in my therapy and collaborate with each student and their families to learn new coping skills, regulate emotions, improve relationships, build confidence, plan for the future, and empower them on their mental health journey.
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist in Minnesota and hold a Master’s degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University and an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University – Mankato. I am also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
In my free time I enjoy photography, being with family, traveling with my husband, hiking, and spending time with my Alaskan Malamute, Bear.
