Hi there! I am a Licensed Psychologist here at Natalis and I am looking forward to meeting you!

I consider myself an approachable, client-centered and emotion-focused clinician. I love being able to process difficult and uncomfortable emotions, and my goal is to really allow you to be heard! I truly believe that you are the expert in you, and my role is to meet you with curiosity and compassion. Also, I love being able to pull on my strengths of being detail-oriented and empathetic in the therapy and testing processes. When conducting psychological evaluations, I want to hear from you about what you think is going well (and things that aren’t) and incorporate that into our exploration together.

I love being able to work with people to answer the BIG questions that they have. Many of my clients are curious about the potential for neurodiversity. My focus has been conducting psychological evaluations for a number of presentations including ADHD, learning disorders, ASD, and behavioral/emotional disorders. I have also enjoyed my work as an individual and group therapist! My hope is that our work together can help you learn about yourself and how your brain works, as well as highlight strengths! I value the genuine connection with people and the vulnerability it takes to do that. I appreciate being able to assist and encourage people on their journey whether it be through assessment or therapy.

I graduated from Iowa State University with my PhD in Counseling Psychology, and I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Southern Arizona Psychological Internship Consortium. My post-doc year was in Fort Collins, Colorado at the Colorado Center for Assessment and Counseling, and I was fortunate to stay on as a senior staff member for two years there as well.In my training, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including university counseling centers, group private practice, community mental health, and residential treatment.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with family and friends!
