I believe in providing a safe, supportive and open environment for children, adolescents, and young adults by cultivating curiosity, courage, and care for individuals to be their authentic selves. I hope to aid in their growth as they traverse through their unique challenges, and to provide the necessary tools for their own autonomy and self-advocacy. The future can be daunting and unpredictable, which is why I dedicate my abilities and services to the individuals who need them the most. Equitable resources can uplift people and communities, which are best provided through empathy, justice, communication, and collaboration. I have had the pleasure and honor of working with young individuals from 3-18 years old by providing them assessment testing, treatment planning, therapeutic services, and parental support. It has been an absolute joy in supporting individuals with ADHD, ASD, OCD, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also emphasize a collaborative approach with all individuals, especially when working with individuals from marginalized/oppressed communities (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, individuals with disabilities), who have experienced trauma, and who were adopted/in the foster care system/experienced adverse childhood experiences. When someone walks into the therapy room, I hope to make them feel welcomed, seen, and heard through the many lenses that they identify with personally, culturally, and in the community. Growth is not linear; thus, I aim to find and support the many ways individuals can grow, love, and thrive.
I love books/comics, tv shows/movies, and adventures! In my free time, my family and I love trying new places to eat, visit, and explore (e.g., museums, parks, stores, etc.) as well as cultivating our own hobbies like art, cooking/baking, and videogaming. (Happy to receive any recommendations!)
I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University (Kirkland, WA) and practice under the supervision of Dr. Rita Sandidge, PhD, LP.
