Mental Health Practitioner and Doctoral Practicum Trainee

During sessions, Susan utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach. She focuses on working in collaboration with clients to provide care and support, as well as helping them develop more effective emotional functioning. Susan implements interventions depending on what is the best fit for the individual client, tailored to their needs and desires.

Susan is interested in individual therapy with all ages who struggle with trauma, grief, neurodiversity, depression, anxiety, and life adjustments. She has experience working with individuals who have been incarcerated and are on probation for criminal/legal issues. She is also interested in working with individuals that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Education
Susan is a graduate student at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, pursuing a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology. Susan received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Currently, she is at Natalis as a Mental Health Practitioner and Doctoral Practicum Trainee.

Susan is practicing under the licensed supervision of Elizabeth Goodchild, MBA, MA, Psy. D., LMFT, LP and sees clients at the University Avenue location.
