Sara Blessington

Sara Blessington, MA

Sara Blessington, MA, is a doctoral psychology intern providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Sara works with children, teens, young adults, and their families who struggle with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship conflict. Sara approaches therapy from a relational and client-centered perspective. She believes the therapy relationship is the essential component of therapy. Sara’s therapeutic approach addresses thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as pieces of the same puzzle that interact with each other.

Sara completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University in Seattle, Washington. She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from Eastern Washington University and a Masters degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle. Before graduate school, Sara worked for over 15 years with children, teens, young adults, and families in multiple community settings. She is a student member of the American Psychological Association. Outside of her clinical work in psychology, Sara enjoys hiking, traveling, and dinner with friends.

Sarah sees clients at the University Ave and Woodbury locations. She is supervised by Dr. Robin McLeod, Ph.D., LP
