Dr. Krista Yucuis is a Post-Doctoral Psychology Resident providing individual psychotherapy, integrative behavioral health care, and psychological assessment for children (7 and above), adolescents and adults at the Natalis Woodbury location and Child and Teen Medical Center in Blaine via telehealth.
In her clinical work, Dr. Yucuis’ practice includes an integrative approach to therapy that meets the clients needs. This could include the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and parent coaching. Dr. Yucuis believes in addressing the unique needs of each individual client to create a place of healing and growth so that individual can achieve their highest potential.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Yucuis is an avid runner, frequently participating in various races throughout Minnesota. She also loves to spend her time with her husband and daughter with a relaxing day at home, trying out new foods around the Twin Cities, and exploring new hiking trails.
Education & Professional Activities
Dr. Yucuis completed her Doctoral Internship at Counseling Psychologists of Woodbury which has merged with Natalis at this time. She also has completed clinical trainings at Headway Emotional Health. Dr. Yucuis completed her Master of Science degree and Doctor of Psychology degree from Capella University.
Dr. Yucuis is a member of the Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA).
Krista sees clients at the Woodbury location, and at the Child and Teen Medical Center in Blaine. Krista is supervised by Dr. Robin McLeod, PhD, LP and Brie Marion, Psy, LP.
