Jocelyn Sutehall, MA, LAMFT is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist providing couples, family, and individual therapy to adults, adolescents, and children.
Jocelyn is warm, welcoming, and guided by her belief that people are doing the best they can and have an inherent ability to change. Wherever a client is on their journey of change, Jocelyn is passionate about providing a safe, authentic, and culturally sensitive space where clients can explore, process, and be challenged in their identified problematic patterns. Jocelyn is committed to actively working to recognize and understand her implicit biases and privileges as a white cis-gendered woman; she is an ally with the LGBTQIA+, racial justice, social justice, and sex-positive communities. Jocelyn’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and grounded in Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (including Trauma-Focused), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion Focused Therapy. With a background in creative and performing arts, Jocelyn will often utilize creative interventions such as movement, posture, art, imagery, metaphor, and mindfulness to assist clients in reaching their identified goals.

Education and Training
Jocelyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle, WA. Jocelyn’s clinical training was completed at Navos Mental Health and Wellness Center in Burien, WA where she worked with children, adolescents and their families in a community mental health outpatient program and led group therapy for residents of a Children’s Long-term Inpatient Program. Jocelyn is currently working on her post-graduate clinical hours towards full licensure and maintains a professional membership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a pre-clinical membership of the Minnesota Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Jocelyn sees clients at the University Ave location and currently works under the supervision of Elizabeth Goodchild, MPA, MA, Psy. D., LMFT, LP.
