Dr. Tim McMaster-Beyer is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, who received his medical degree in 1992 from Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. He was a recipient of Public Health Service scholarship for his medical training, and repaid this scholarship by serving in a medically under-served area as designated by the National Health Service Corps, in southeast Missouri, for seven years. He is Board Certified in two specialties through the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, in General (Adult) Psychiatry and in Child/adolescent Psychiatry. He has received community service awards through Avera Healthcare of Sioux Falls, S.D., as well as a “Top Doctor” award and Press-Gainey Patient Satisfaction award as well. He has been practicing community-based psychiatry for over twenty-five years. His orientation is person-centered, and his approach is evidence-based, wholistic and collaborative.
