Averi aims to cultivate a collaborative counseling relationship where she works with clients to develop and achieve treatment goals. Her counseling style is holistic and client-centered. Averi’s therapeutic approach mainly draws from person-centered, feminist, and emotion-focused theoretical orientations. She also implements interventions outside of these theories depending on what is the best fit for the individual client. Her approach is tailored to her specific client’s needs and desires.
Averi’s clinical interests include working with adolescents and adult clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, or life transitions. She is also passionate about women’s mental health concerns, such as pregnancy, postpartum, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
