Job Title: Sexual Health & Gender Focused Clinician

Seeking clinician with a graduate degree in mental health who is either experienced or seeking more training within the clinical fields of sexual health and gender. Previous training experiences in mental health are required. This job opportunity is available to both licensed providers and providers currently seeking licensure. The Sexual Health & Gender Program at Natalis Counseling & Psychology Solutions offers training opportunities that allow for the development of specialty skills within the fields of sexual health and gender. Opportunities are also available to acquire supervision hours that count toward AASECT sex therapy certification for those that are interested (https://www.aasect.org/aasect-certified- sex-therapist-0). In some cases, these hours can be acquired concurrently with required licensure supervision hours (when applicable). The Sexual Health & Gender Program provides both therapy and evaluation services to aid clients in navigating a variety of sexual health and gender related concerns. Duties include the provision of therapy services, maintenance of clinical documentation, attendance at relevant meetings and trainings, engagement in regular consultation, and coordination of care with other providers.
Supervision and specialty training is provided by:
Tera Jansen, Psy.D., LP, CST, CST-S- Dr. Jansen is a licensed psychologist and an AASECT certified sex therapist and AASECT certified sex therapy supervisor. She is the Program Director of the Sexual Health & Gender Program at Natalis. In addition to providing clinical services across a wide variety of sexual health and gender concerns, Dr. Jansen has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas, where she has taught graduate courses in sexual health and gender. She has advanced training in the areas of sexual health, including a 2-year, postdoctoral fellowship at the Program in Human Sexuality (now Institute of Sexual & Gender Health) at the University of Minnesota.
Alex Kovic, M.A., Psy.D., LP- Dr. Kovic is a licensed psychologist with specialties in sexual health and gender concerns, as well as forensic psychology. He is the Associate Program Director of the Sexual Health & Gender Program at Natalis. Dr. Kovic’s clinical practice includes consultation, therapy, and psychological assessment. Dr. Kovic received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Hamline University, an MA in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Kovic also completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota.
