Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services, or ARMHS, is an community-based program that helps individuals who have with a mental illness who have medical assistance function independently in their homes or places of residence. ARMHS is, at it’s core, client centered; it is also skills-based and goal-oriented. This means ARMHS can help a client work towards and achieve their goals by teaching and practicing healthy skills, all while focusing on a mental health perspective, in their own home and community. Some goal areas that ARMHS can help with are: mental health coping skills; employment skills; educational skills; relapse prevention and harm reduction; interpersonal and social skills; and navigating mental, medical, and other health care and systems.
Natalis Counseling and Psychology Solutions is certified to provide ARMHS in Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties and accepts all MA and PMAP plans. Practitioners also have experience working with interpreter services and work with a wide range of diagnoses, symptoms, and goals.
