Job Title: School-linked Mental Health Practitioner
Reports to: School-linked Mental Health Lead Clinician and Supervisor
Department: SLMH
Effective Date: September, 2022

The School-linked Mental Health (SLMH) Practitioner at Natalis is responsible for providing school-based mental health services at contracted school. This could be elementary, middle, and/or high school. SLMH Provider will work with SLMH Lead to learn policies and procedures of providing school-based services. SLMH Provider will use evidence-based interventions, as well as best practices to provide therapeutic service to students in a school setting. Therapeutic services include individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete Diagnostic Assessment
  • Provide therapy services in school, i.e., individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Attend weekly supervision and case consultations the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
  • Complete paperwork in timely manner making sure to adhere to state and insurance regulations
  • Coordinate care with school and parents/guardians of students

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field and working toward professional licensure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Proficient in technology, including scanning, uploading, and emailing
  • Great communication skills
  • A high attention to detail and the ability to work quicky and efficiently
  • Ability to work individually and on a team with a diverse population
  • Understanding and ability to be sensitive to cultural and socioeconomic differences
  • Ability to handle confidential materials with integrity
