Dr. Natalia Potapova is a Licensed Psychologist providing individual and group psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessment for adults at the Natalis Energy Park location both in person and via telehealth. Dr. Potapova believes in building a life worth living and practicing mental flexibility. It is important for her to meet her clients where they are and build insight, learn new skills, manage emotions, and or heal and grow through difficult experiences.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Potapova enjoys dancing, playing piano, drawing, painting, making costumes, cooking, and playing board games and video games. Dr. Potapova also enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking, bouldering and rock climbing, and kayaking, and exploring geographically unique national parks (e.g., canyons, volcano calderas).

Therapeutic Orientation: Dr. Potapova uses an integrated therapeutic approach influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She also has much experience working with clients with trauma, variety of health concerns (e.g., weight loss, improving heart health) and medical conditions (e.g., chronic pain, diabetes, kidney disease, migraines, high blood pressure, traumatic brain injury (TBI)), as well as Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ ADHD) and executive dysfunction (i.e., difficulties with attention, memorization, motivation, planning, and emotion regulation).

Education & Professional Activities
Dr. Potapova has completed her APA-accredited Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral work at Hennepin Healthcare, where she also worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist, providing care for adult clients with complex trauma, Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), medical and cognitive conditions, and socio-economic and racial adversity. She also has completed her clinical trainings in therapy at a variety of clinics in Washington and Idaho, providing care for college students, community members, and local tribal communities. Dr. Potapova completed her Master of Science degree and APA-accredited Doctor of Philosophy degree from Washington State University; and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Washington.

Dr. Potapova is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA).

Areas of Practice

Individual therapy for adults struggling with mental health (Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Trauma, Executive Dysfunction, ADHD, Personality Disorders, Adjustment & Grief) and mental health related to health and medical concerns, including chronic pain, medical conditions, and traumatic brain injury.

Group therapy: (1) Skills group for adults struggling with managing chronic pain and related chronic medical conditions, and (2) educational group for adults with ADHD and executive functioning skills deficits.

Psychological Evaluations for: ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning skill deficits, and personality assessments.

Dr. Brent Haagenson is a Licensed Psychologist providing individual psychotherapy and psychological assessment for adolescents and adults at the Natalis Woodbury location both in person and via telehealth.

Many individuals seek therapy or assessment in a state of crisis, searching to understand their pain. Dr. Haagenson believes that collaborative psychological work can help individuals identify not just an understanding to their suffering – but a sense of motivation, value, and purpose from which to begin a life worth living.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Haagenson is a professional singer in the Twin Cities area frequently performing with professional choral groups and his district champion barbershop quartet. Dr. Haagenson can frequently be found training for his next marathon, trying his hand at oil painting, singing karaoke, enjoying East Asian food, or exploring his home neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis with Bella the pitbull.

Therapeutic Orientation: Dr. Haagenson uses an integrated therapeutic approach influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic-Psychoanalytic Theory, and Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF). He also uses health psychology and spiritually integrated psychotherapy techniques.

Education & Professional Activities
Dr. Haagenson completed his APA-accredited Doctoral Internship at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation specializing in mental health and substance use integration. He also has completed clinical trainings in therapy at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital and Park Avenue Center, and advanced clinical training in psychological assessment with the Clinic for Attention, Learning and Memory (CALM). Dr. Haagenson completed his Master of Arts degree and APA accredited Doctor of Psychology degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (M.A., 2017; Psy.D., 2020); and Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Political Science from Concordia College (B.A., magna cum laude, 2012).

Dr. Haagenson is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA), and Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH).
