Roberta provides individual and group therapy for adults and the elderly. Roberta believes that everyone– including you - has the capacity to live a fulfilling life. You may struggle because you have endured difficult life

Roberta will offer support and encouragement and help you gain a more positive perspective on your life. In her work with clients, she has successfully helped people overcome obstacles and reengage in constructive activities such as returning to school, becoming employed, repairing or improving interpersonal relationships, reducing or stopping addictive behaviors, developing self-love, and overcoming isolation.

Roberta's approach to therapy is strength-based. She believes that you already have within you what you need to feel content. She teaches mindfulness, interpersonal skills, emotion regulation skills, and self-compassion while adapting my approach to meet your particular needs. She is middle-aged. She raised her daughter as a single mother. She has a wide range of life experiences which she believes help her to better understand others. She enjoys cooking, making art, gardening, and exploring hiking trails throughout the Twin Cities.

Educational Background and Professional Activities

Roberta graduated with distinction from Capella University with a MS in Mental Health Counseling in 2014. She has completed certification programs for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, hypnosis, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Roberta is a member of the American Counseling Association.
