Leah Good is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in practice with Natalis Counseling and Psychology Solutions. 

As a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Leah is licensed to provide services including holistic

mental health assessment and diagnosis, counseling, referral, and medication management to adults, children, and families.

 

When Leah is not working she loves spending time with her three children, attempting to play various instruments, reading, knitting, painting, and exploring the Twin Cities.  She believes that the client is the focus of treatment, and strives to provide inclusive care to all persons and family systems. She encourages partnership in mental health care and focuses on client and family goals. Goals can be met in many ways, including but not limited to: individual and family therapy, community support, group work, education, and medication management.

Educational Background and Professional Activities
Leah began her career in mental health with an Associates Degree in Nursing, then completed
a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. She has extensive experience with
adults and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She worked for the State of Ohio
behavioral health care system in forensic psychiatry, and spent five rewarding years on the
adult and child psychiatric units at Kettering Behavioral Health Care Center, during which time
she became board certified as a psychiatric and mental health RN. Leah found her passion for
mental health outpatient care in private practice with economically challenged children in Dayton, Ohio.
 
She then completed her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in psychiatry from the University
of North Dakota.  She is currently pursuing certification in transgender health care from the World
Professional Association of Transgender Health.
