The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist at Natalis Psychology is a Part or Full-Time, flexible position that provides direct outpatient mental health services as an LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC at one of our 4 Twin Cities locations. Natalis has assembled a team of dedicated clinicians, community partners, leaders in the field, and creative thinkers to offer innovative and comprehensive behavioral health care services. We are expanding this network of clinicians who are specialists (or training to be specialists!) in clinical work with children, teens and their families

The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapist provides individual and family therapy for a wide range of childhood and teen concerns including: anxiety, school difficulties, depression, dealing with loss or family changes, traumatic events, ADHD, parent-child conflicts, parenting challenges, behavioral challenges and social difficulties. Licensed Psychologists interested in psychological testing also have the opportunity to conduct testing for a variety of presentations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat diverse clients according to best practice standards, including psychological evaluations and psychotherapy interventions for clients
• Conduct diagnostic assessments (DA)
• Collaborate with the child/teen and family on treatment planning
• Provide individual and family therapy with opportunity for group work depending on interests
• Timely documentation according to Rule 29 clinical standards
• Adherence to Minnesota and HIPPA data privacy requirements
• Opportunity to provide supervision in our training programs and to pre-licensed clinicians
• Attend 4 clinical consultation groups per month
• Conduct 30 direct service hours per week for a full-time position

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work a clinical caseload of 28 direct service hours per week
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Great prioritization skills
• Empathic to client needs and concerns

Education and Experience

• LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC – or eligible for licensure
• Pre-licensed supervision provided
• Supervisory experience preferred
• We are highly interested in candidates who have experience or certification with evidence-based therapies for children such as play therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
